  Zill-e-Huma

Zill is a PhD student at department of Global studies, under the supervision of Prof Anthony G. McGrew and interested in IR, Diplomacy, Geopolitics and Political Economy. She did her Bachelors in Business and Commerce (B.Com-IT) in 2004; she secured first position in the university and a gold medalist. She did her Master in Public Administration with majors’ Human resource management and Public Policy in 2007 from Fatima Jinnah Women University Rawalpindi (one of the well-reputed and leading universities of Pakistan in Public Administration). She completed her thesis on “Urbanization per capita income and domestic absorption of staple grains: Pakistan (1960-2005) under a supervision of Dr. Sardar Ahmed Ansari. She studied languages (English, Arabic & Chinese) in National University of Modern Languages Islamabad and International Islamic University for short period in 2008 and 2017.

She worked as intern in Trade development authority of Pakistan(TDAP)  (Ministry of Commerce) (2006) and Zong Telecommunication (2007). She worked in SLS High School as a teacher and coordinator (2008-2015). She worked full time as Assistant Manager (HR) in Nazir Shaheen and Associates (Corporate Advisors and Management Accountants) Islamabad in (2016). She voluntarily worked as a teacher in Al-Huda Welfare Foundation Islamabad (during 2015 to 2018). She joined Silk Road School of Renmin University of China in September 2018 and completed her degree in 2020 and her Master thesis addressed Pakistan-Afghanistan bilateral relations in the light of BRI under the supervision of Professor SongWei. She writes poetry and published her poems in magazines and papers. She also secured awards in her drama performances (writing and acting) during her educational career at university level. She worked as a radio presenter in FJWU Radio in Pakistan.
