Viktor Pál

Viktor Pál received his PhD at the University of Tampere, Finland. Currently he works at the University of Helsinki on a KONE Foundation research project "Pour Me a Cold One: A Cold War History of Beverage Containers" 2019-2021. Since 2018 he serves as research coordinator for the Helsinki Environmental Humanities Hub

His first book "Technology and the Environment in State-socialist Hungary: An Economic History" was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2017. He co-edited  "Environmentalism under Authoritarian Regimes. Myth, Propaganda, Reality" with Stephen Brain, a collection of essays published by Routledge in 2019.
