Development Models

Far from being a coherent concept, the idea of development differs widely between times, places, and social groups. Four projects have explored how different groups have argued for their understandings of development .

1. Globalization and economic reform in the post-Cold War. The case of People’s Republic of China and Argentina Republic 1989-2001.

2. The long crisis of an idea. Models for development in Argentina between 1955 and 1976

3. Religion and social development in China

4. War veterans and development  (Past project).
